Whiteheads are just another form of acne. The only thing that differ them from other forms of acne is their distinct white color. They typically occur because of the over production of sebum or oil of the skin. If you think that popping these blights is going to do you good, then you better think again. You see, if you try to pop and break them, you will only irritate and aggravate your skin further. If you want to find out how to get rid of white heads properly, then here are seven surefire tips that you can try. Here they are.

1.) Clean your face at least twice a day using a gentle face cleanser and lukewarm water.

2.) Try to avoid touching your face with your bare hands, especially if you have not washed your hands yet. If you are prone to always touching your face, you risk passing all the dirt, dust, bacteria and germs onto your facial skin and in effect, can lead to further breakouts. Carry a sanitizer around whenever you go out. It is also advised that you ponytail your hair, so it does not come into contact with your face.

3.) If in any case you feel that your face is getting a bit oily, wash your face with a mild soap or wipe the oil off using a clean handkerchief.

4.) Eat plenty of veggies and fruits to keep both your skin and body healthy.

5.) Always stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water or fruit juice everyday. As a matter of fact, drinking plenty of water every single day can also help you in terms of how to get rid of scars brought about by acne.

6.) Use products which are deemed oil free.

7.) If the urge to scratch the whiteheads becomes too overwhelming, take a warm bath or steam your face, so it would be a lot easier for you to remove these unsightly buggers.
